In 1990, Lagoon joined the Beneteau Group and continued to benefit from its experience and know-how. Lagoon catamarans today are the result of the collaboration of many talents. In 1996, Fren and Bruno wanted to satisfy the American demand so they created new faster boats. These boats were presented at the Paris boat show and were a success. By the early 2000s, customer demands had changed, so they were forced to reinforce the sales and marketing departments. Today, the company has a 100,000 m² site and a 300m quay. The shipyard is located in Bordeaux and employs 1000 people.
