What is weather cover?

Weather cover allows you to receive a full refund of your rental in the event of a Special Weather Statement (SWS) or if the owner accepts cancellation due to bad weather.

It applies to one-day rentals up to €2,500.


How does it work?

  • Cost: 3% of the rental price, with a minimum charge of €6.
  • Subscription: Can be taken out at the time of booking or up to 1 week before the rental period.
  • Refund: If a SWS is issued or if the owner confirms adverse weather conditions, you will receive a full refund, regardless of the owner's cancellation policy.

When can I take out the cover?
Cover can be taken out at the time of payment or up to one week before the rental, and can be activated at any time before the start time.


Can I cancel with weather cover?
If you cancel due to SWS or adverse weather conditions, and you have taken out cover, you will receive a full refund. 


Where can I see my cover details?
Your cover details appear in your payment receipts.


Is weather cover refundable?
Weather Cover is a non-refundable service once it has been taken out.
