What does ad sponsorship mean?

Ad sponsorship is now available on SamBoat, allowing boat owners to increase the visibility of their ads by adjusting the commission rates.

Go to the ‘My Boats’ tab to edit your listing! 

Here's what you need to know:

  • Owners can choose to increase their commission from 1% to 5%, which will positively impact their positioning of their ad on the website 
     
  • These changes do not apply to previous booking requests and will only apply to future rental requests

The position of each boat in the search results is based on a weighting algorithm.

Positioning is recalculated every day, so the ranking of your listing may change from one day to the next.

We offer a boost to enable your ad to be given greater visibility, by applying an additional commission percentage to your ad. The higher the percentage, the greater the visibility of your ad. .
