Launching at the Dusseldorf 2016 boat show this new model from Lagoon is a huge hit. There is lots of light from the signature wraparound salon windows and large ports in the cabins. Orion stands out as a proper yacht with her interior walnut cabinetry and leather upholstery as well as her teak floors and teak table in the cockpit. Orion is the charter version and features four cabins. There is also an additional single berth in the port forepeak and the salon table converts to a double bunk allowing for a total sleeping capacity of 11. Each of the four ensuite bathrooms have electric heads and onboard air conditioning is provided by a generator. There is a great helm position offset to port sheltered by a fixed bimini with a large cushioned sun lounging area, plus a good size cockpit so lots of outdoor space. The Lagoon 42 has also been awarded Cruising World Boat of the Year - Best full size multihull under 50 feet in 2017 PRIOR NIGHT SLEEPABOARDS Sleepaboards are charged at one-half the daily charter rate, plus one night’s Cruising Tax per person.
