If you are looking for the perfect beach holiday to relax, but also want to explore different places and cultures, St Vincent and the Grenadines is the place for you. With a multitude of islands to discover, there is no limit to the things to do.

The main island is Saint Vincent, also known as ‘The City of Arches’ and is the busiest place in St Vincent and the Grenadines, with impressive architecture including cobbled streets and historic buildings and churches. Despite this, a lot of the island is still undiscovered and covered in vegetation with gives the island a unique look and feel. The island is mountainous and a volcanic island, with some popular activities including hiking (including the demanding hike to the top of La Soufriere Volcano and the produce market where people come from all over the island to sell fresh fruit and vegetables.

Another popular area to visit is Bequia, which has a direct ferry daily from Saint Vincent, which is known for the incredible wildlife which can be seen on the beaches, green meadows, and fishing villages, as well as the artists’ studios. Bequia is the largest of the Grenadine islands and is known worldwide for its beautiful beaches, as well as excellent diving opportunities due to the colourful reefs, caves, wall dives and wrecks to explore.

If you are a big fan of underwater exploring, either diving or snorkelling, other than Bequia, a great place to visit is Tobago Cays which is just a sail away. Here you can see the horseshoe reef which creates a calm lagoon where if you are lucky, you might spot dolphins, whales, or turtles. If you are going to hire a boat, the best place to hire from is Union Island, which is home to the southernmost marina and is home to some lovely fishing villages and coastal paths.
