If your boating license was issued within the European Union, it would automatically be accepted anywhere in Greece. If your licence was issued outside the EU, it would only be accepted if it meets EU standards. Make sure to check before you hire your boat in Rhodes. You will also need to translate your license if it is not in English (or greek).

You can hire a motorboat in Rhodes without a licence if the horsepower is under 30. However, if you want to hire a boat with 30hp or more, you will need a licence.
