BWA es una de las marcas más acreditadas de semirrígidas en Europa y su larga experiencia le ha llevado a crear una gama con distintas series, bien adaptadas a las exigencias del mercado con un diseño nada extremo, discreto, elegante, sin formas futuristas, y con una distribución muy racional. La serie Premium es la mejor presentación de la marca con un diseño de carena con una acentuada V en proa y unos flotadores de gran diámetro. Este barco BWA Sport 26 GT es la hermana de la BWA Sport 28 GT que se diferencia en la eslora y en la manga, difícil elección para el alquiler de barcos en Menorca. El motor Suzuki DF 200 cv., posiblemente el mejor de Suzuki en cuanto a la relacion de potencia/rendimiento/consumo permiten navegar con un mínimo consumo de combustible. Como su hermana mayor la BWA Sport 28 GT tiene un diseño de corte deportivo ya la vez con clase, es un barco muy bonito. La potencia de 200 cvpermite navegar de forma rápida, ya la vez con un consumo muy reducido comportamiento extraordinario. Además de correr, se comporta fenomenalmente, tanto en giros cerrados como a medio gas sobre las olas. La proa es afilada, es suave y evita el pantoqueo. Motores sobresalientes en una carena que lo tiene todo demostrados en esloras similares de la misma marca. Un conjunto en el que combinan la tecnología, el confort y la elegancia, con la navegabilidad de alto nivel en un producto de calidad, con un alto nivel de polivalencia de uso, con buenos acabados. La BWA 26 GT trae un bimini amplio y un gran solárium de proa. Son muchas las pequeñas cosas que configuran esta semirrígida, cuyo encanto está, entre otras, en la discreta elegancia de sus líneas. La zona de popa también se puede convertir en un segundo solárium ajustando la altura de la mesa. En la popa, con doble plataforma de baño, ducha y escalera; la zona de la bañera, con un sofá envolvente en U, en torno a una mesa que se puede ajustar en altura para formar un espacioso solárium detrás, complementado por un mueble en la zona central con el puesto de gobierno y la proa con el solárium principal. Es destacable la capacidad de estiba en proa y popa, grandes cofres, con una distribución muy equilibrada, aprovechada, hecha para navegar cómodamente a bordo. El puesto de gobierno es cómodo, seguro y ofrece buena protección y ergonomía. Ante el volante vamos cómodos, tanto de pie como apoyados en el banco con reposapiés y con un panel de control con todos los indicadores. A nivel de seguridad en el barco se ha instalado un sistema diseñado por que está en proceso de patente y que integra componentes electrónicos como un chart plotter SIMRAD GO 7, una Tablet con comunicaciones, un conjunto de sensores integrados que generan alertas con información relevante y sistema de comunicaciones continua de estas alertas al propio barco y a la oficina. Se utiliza la carta Navionics con batimetría, puntos de interés que incluyen calas, rocas y también restaurantes con los teléfonos para poder reservar desde el barco mientras se navega. La aplicación permite seleccionar un destino y escoge la mejor ruta segura dando hora aproximada de llegada, con el GPS del barco te lleva de día y de noche de especial valor cuando perdemos las referencias visuales. Con la integración de los componentes y sistemas de comunicaciones se generan alertas que llegan al mismo tiempo al barco y a la oficina por golpes, velocidad, falta de batería, agua en la sentina, estar fondeados en zonas protegidas… El sistema de seguridad permite acceder a la previsión de meteorología, conocer la ruta de los buques cercanos, acceso a las instrucciones del funcionamiento de los componentes del barco. El barco dispone de una radio VHF para utilizar los procedimientos de radio establecidos por la OMI y adicionalmente se dispone de una comunicación con la oficina. Cuando surge una situación imprevista en las que no se sabe como resolver se contacta con la oficina donde la casi totalidad de las llamadas de ayuda se resuelven desde la oficina .
