The Captain welcomes you aboard the sailing ship "Alcyone", a Jeanneau Sun Odissey 42.2 ft (13 m). CE approved in class A (oceanic) it can carry 10 people on board (including the crew), in class C 14 people including the crew. The boat has 4 cabins, two double cabins aft, one owner's cabin aft and one (double aft, reserved for the crew). Two bathrooms with shower, two-burner kitchen with gas oven and cockpit fridge. A large central dinette ensures considerable comfort for eight people. External shower in the cockpit and aft living area. An innumerable series of equipment complete the on-board accessories: tender with outboard, snorkeling masks, sport fishing equipment....etc.. You don't have to be an expert sailor to approach the world of sailing. All you need is the curiosity to try a different kind of holiday. The desire to better understand how the coastal landscape is seen from the sea. Discover the particular rhythms and times that characterize life on board marked by stops at anchor, silent trips accompanied by the blowing of the wind, nights under the stars, sunrises and sunsets as a natural stage. A sailing holiday is a highly engaging type of experience where everyone inevitably participates in life on board which also includes managing the boat, performing a maneuver, helping with mooring. It is therefore difficult to stop at the role of passive spectators. Taking a boat for a weekend or a week, relying on the expert guidance of a Skipper remains the best way to approach the world of sailing. This is how mysterious objects and unknown terms slowly begin to become familiar, transforming a simple holiday into an unconscious and stimulating alternative sailing school. Navigation to SR Ortigia (about 4.30 hours). Stop at anchor in the Arcile bay, lunch on board and a dip in the crystal clear waters. Landing at the Ortigia marina. Free afternoon and evening. Guided tour of the city of "Archimedes". Sunday: departure from Ortigia and stop in the beautiful bay of Fontane Bianche, lunch on board, swimming and relaxation. Return to Ortigia in the afternoon. Nightlife evening and guided tour. Monday: Departure from Ortigia to Marzamemi. Stop at the Vendicari oasis, sorkeling. Arrival in the evening and landing in the marina of Marzamemi. Free evening and guided tour. Tuesday: Day dedicated to the seaside village of Marzamemi. Guided tour of the tuna fishery. Wednesday: sea trip and rounding of Capo Passero (meeting of the two seas Ionian and Mediterranean) stop in the splendid coves, swimming and relaxing. In the evening return to Marzamemi. Thursday: free program (to be agreed with guests) Friday: Departure for Catania, stop for lunch, swimming and relaxing in the bay of Brucoli. Free evening and overnight stay on the boat. Guided tour of the historic center of the baroque of Catania. Saturday: 10 am disembarkation and greeting to guests. L'imbarcazione dispone di 4 cabine, due martimoniali a poppa, una armatoriale a prua e una (doppia a prua, riservata all'equipaggio). Due bagni con doccia, cucina due fuochi con forno a gas e frigo a pozzetto. Un'ampia dinette centrale assicura un notevole confort per otto persone. Doccetta esterna in pozzetto e living a poppa. Una innumerevole serie di attrezzature completano gli accessori di bordo: tender con fuoribordo, maschere per snorking, attrezzature per pesca sportiva....ecc.. Non occorre essere provetti navigatori per avvicinarsi al mondo della vela. Basta la curiosità di voler provare una vacanza diversa. La voglia di capire meglio come è fatto il paesaggio costiero visto dal mare. Scoprire i particolari ritmi e tempi che caratterizzano la vita a bordo scanditi da soste in rada, trasferte silenziose accompagnate dal soffio del vento, notti sotto le stelle, albe e tramonti come palcoscenico naturale. La vacanza in barca a vela è un tipo di esperienza altamente coinvolgente dove inevitabilmente ognuno partecipa alla vita di bordo che comprende anche la gestione della barca, l'esecuzione di una manovra, l'aiuto in un ormeggio. È difficile quindi fermarsi solo al ruolo di spettatori passivi. Prendere una barca per un week end o una settimana, affidandosi all'esperta guida di uno Skipper rimane il modo migliore per avvicinarsi al mondo della vela. È così che oggetti misteriosi e termini sconosciuti piano piano cominciano a diventare familiari trasformando una semplice vacanza anche in una inconsapevole e stimolante alternativa scuola di vela. Sabato: ore 10 imbarco ospiti e partenza. Navigazione per SR Ortigia (4,30 h circa). Sosta in rada nella baia Arcile, pranzo a bordo e un tuffo in acque cristalline. Approdo alla marina di Ortigia. Pomeriggio e serata libera. Visita guidata nella città di "Archimede". Domenica: partenza da Ortigia e sosta nella bellissima baia di Fontane bianche, pranzo a bordo, bagni e relax. Rientro nel pomeriggio ad Ortigia. Serata movida e visita guidata. Lunedi: Partenza da Ortigia per Marzamemi. Sosta nell’oasi di Vendicari, sorkeling. Arrivo in serata e approdo nella marina di Marzamemi. Serata libera e visita guidata. Martedì: Giornata dedicata al borgo marinaro di Marzamemi. Visita guidata alla tonnara. Mercoledì: uscita in mare e doppiaggio Capo passero(incontro dei due mari Jonio e Mediterraneo) sosta nelle splendide calette, nuoto e relax. La sera rientro a Marzamemi. Giovedi: programma libero(da concordare con gli ospiti) Venerdi: Partenza per Catania, sosta per pranzo, nuoto e relax nella baia di Brucoli. Serata libera e pernottamento in barca. Visita guidata nel centro storico del barocco di Catania. Sabato: ore 10 sbarco e saluto agli ospiti.
