In the middle of the western Mediterranean, where Corsica and Sardinia follow each other in one of the most seductive stretches of sea in the world, the Maddalena Archipelago emerges in all its beauty. Located more precisely off the north-eastern coast of Sardinia, it is made up of seven major islands (Maddalena, Caprera, Santo Stefano, Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria and Razzoli), numerous islets and smaller rocks. Covered with plants typical of the Mediterranean scrub, all these islands, largely uninhabited, are characterized by a succession of coves and beaches with very fine sand bathed by a wonderful emerald sea. Another determining element of the undisputed charm of this Archipelago is undoubtedly the granite nature of its rocks which have been shaped relentlessly by the sea and the wind for millennia. For the protection of such an environmental heritage, the Archipelago National Park was established in 1996 with the aim of preserving the magnificent marine flora and fauna that characterizes it. During navigation we will be constantly surrounded by indescribable natural sceneries that have enchanted even Napoleon, Nelson and Garibaldi. How can we not mention, for example, Cala Corsara which is located on the island of Spargi, where a very fine white beach merges with a clear and crystalline sea, or the Pink beach on the island of Budelli takes its name from the characteristic color that its sand takes on due to the crumbling of the shells of some marine microorganisms. Finally, Bonifacio is an obligatory stop for those who choose to visit the Archipelago; the incredible view at the entrance to the port, which is accessed through a fjord with white rock walls more than 70 meters high, leaves anyone breathless... NB there is an expense for the ports that we will visit during the week including the port of embarkation and landing.

Nel mezzo del Mediterraneo occidentale, là dove Corsica e Sardegna si inseguono in uno dei tratti di mare tra i più seducenti al mondo, emerge in tutta la sua bellezza l’Arcipelago della Maddalena. Collocato più precisamente al largo della costa nord orientale della Sardegna, è costituito da sette isole maggiori (Maddalena, Caprera, Santo Stefano, Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria e Razzoli), da numerosi isolotti e scogli minori. Ricoperte da piante tipiche della macchia mediterranea tutte queste isole, in gran parte disabitate, sono caratterizzate da un susseguirsi di insenature e spiagge dalla sabbia finissima bagnate da un meraviglioso mare color smeraldo. Altro elemento determinate del fascino indiscusso di questo Arcipelago è senza dubbio la natura granitica delle sue rocce da millenni plasmate senza sosta dal mare e dal vento. Per la tutela di un simile patrimonio ambientale nel 1996 è stato istituito il Parco Nazionale dell’Arcipelago con lo scopo di preservare la magnifica flora e fauna marina che lo caratterizza. Durante la navigazione saremo costantemente circondati da scenari naturali indescrivibili che hanno ammaliato persino Napoleone, Nelson e Garibaldi. Come non citare ad esempio cala Corsara che si trova nell’isola di Spargi, dove una spiaggia bianca finissima si fonde con un mare limpido e cristallino, oppure la spiaggia Rosa dell’isola di Budelli prende il nome dal caratteristico colore che assume la sua sabbia a causa dallo sgretolamento dei gusci di alcuni microrganismi marini. Bonifacio infine è una tappa obbligata per chi sceglie di visitare l’Arcipelago; la vista incredibile all’ingresso del porto, a cui si accede attraverso un fiordo con pareti di roccia bianca alte più di 70metri, lascia chiunque senza fiato… N.B è prevista la spesa per i porti che visiteremo durante la settimana compreso il porto di imbarco e sbarco.
