Renting a Yacht in Cabo

Cabo San Lucas is a Mexican town located on the coast in the county of Los Cabos in Baja California State, facing the Sea of Cortez (also known as the bay of California) on one side, and the Pacific Ocean on the other. The town is well known for its beaches, boating activities and its nightlife. Playa El Medano is the most famous beach where yachts congregate on its large marina, and where many tourists and locals partake in the popular sport of fishing.

How much does it cost to hire a boat in Cabo?

Prices to hire a yacht in Cabo start as low as £342 for the day, however, averages at around £1500 to £4000 for a day trip. These prices will vary based on the season, type of boat and number of passengers, however, all yachts come with a fully licensed captain and skipper included in the price.

Boat Availability in Cabo San Lucas

Much like the rest of Mexico, the peak season is during the winter months, from December to April, where you will find more tourists as well as warmer weather. It is also important to note that Cabo San Lucas is a popular destination for Spring Breakers, which usually occurs towards the end of March depending on the college. This event will make the town much busier as well, so it is important if you are planning to visit during this period to book far in advance and be aware that costs will be higher. We recommend booking at least a year in advance for the peak season, and although demand is slightly lower in the off-season it is still important to book at least 6 months in advance.
